Sony Tablet S pre-order now in the US
Sony is starting pre-sale its Tablet S model (previously known as the Sony S1) at Sony Style USA. This Sony Tablet S will be shipping sometime in September 2011 for customers in the US and Canada. This Android tablet has an asymmetric design with weights just 590 grams.
Sony Tablet S Specifications
The Sony Tablet S is powered by a 1GHz Tegra 2 dual-core chip, 1GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB of internal storage, and runs Android 3.1 OS. New Tablet S is packs a 9.4-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixel, an SD card slot, aGPS, and a 5,000 mAh battery.
As connectivity, Sony Tablet S is brings 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, and a micro USB port. There are a VGA front-facing camera and a rear-facing 5MP camera.

Cost of 16GB and 32GB Sony Tablet S is $500 and $600, respectively.
