Sony VAIO E series notebook, available for pre-order now
Sony is starting sale for its colorful E series laptops, the Sony VAIO E. It has six color options – Gunmetal Black, Coconut White, Lava Black, Hibiscus Pink, Caribbean Green, and Iridescent Blue. Sony’s E series notebook has a 15.5-inch display with resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, and a DVD writer or Blu-Ray drive.
Sony VAIO E series notebook is powered by an Intel Core i3/i5 processor, up to 8GB of RAM, a Mobility Radeon HD 5470 graphics card with 512MB of VRAM, and up to 500GB of HDD. It packs a Motion Eye webcam, a memory card reader, an ExpressCard 34 slot, Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, D-Sub, and HDMI outputs.
New Sony VAIO E series notebook is pre-installed with Windows 7 Home Premium or Professional. It has dimensions of 14.56×1.22×9.77 inches (WxHxD). The Sony VAIO E series is already for pre-order and will be shipping in March 2010 for starts priced at $800.
