Sony VAIO M Netbook gets officially

Sony has officially announced their new netbook, Sony VAIO M, which are the first pictures published in early March.

Sony VAIO M netbook is equipped with a 10.1-inch display with LED backlight and a resolution of 1024×600 pixels, a 250GB hard drive (5400 rpm), 1GB RAM DDR2 667 MHz, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, web camera, stereo speakers, microphone, three USB 2.0 ports and 6-cell battery (the battery life is not reported). The Sony VAIO M Netbook will be pre-loaded with Windows 7 Starter OS.

Sony VAIO M is built on Intel Pine Trail platform, which includes Intel NM10 Express chipset and a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor with Intel GMA 3150 integrated graphics.

Size of Sony VAIO M is 182.8x268x26.4-32.9 mm and weight is 1.4kg. It will be available in late March 2010 and comes in two color options – black and white. The Sony Vaio M is reminds the Sony Vaio W, but there are differences such as Pine Trail processor and display.
