The network has information that may become an unpleasant surprise for owners of Sony VAIO laptop. Apparently, they cannot take advantage of XP Mode technology, present in the corporate versions of the new Windows 7 operating system. As it turned out, the Japanese company, a manufacturer simply locks on their notebook hardware, virtualization features required for this technology. Moreover, such a decision is due to security concerns.

Remember, XP mode innovative technology is designed to run on older Windows-application for a new Windows 7 operating system. This feature is designed to provide relatively peaceful transition to a new software platform for corporate clients, still remain faithful to the good old Windows XP. These users typically have several software packages and applications; “sharpened” was under this operating system and not working with Windows 7. To ensure this compatibility mode and XP Mode, create an environment in Windows 7 and the virtual environment Windows XP.

Of course, the Windows XP Mode technology is for the most part, niche products, calculated mainly on corporate users.
