Sony Walkman NW-A850 Portable Player with OLED Screen
Sony has official announced the launch of their multimedia player lineup, called the Sony Walkman NW-A850. The gadget will be starting sale for Japanese market in November 2010. The new Sony Walkman NW-A850 series are includes the Sony Walkman NW-A855, the Sony Walkman NW-A856 and the Sony Walkman NW-A857 with 16GB, 32GB and 64GB of internal memory, respectively.
All of them have an S-Master steering wheel and support DSEE (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine) technology, which is restores the lost audio quality during compression. The Sony Walkman NW-A850 PMP is packs 13.5mm speakers and noise-canceling, which is cutting off 98% of noise sounds. In addition, the Sony Walkman NW-A850 player has Sound Clear Bass and Clear Stereo feature.
The Sony Walkman NW-A855, NW-A856 and NW-A857 has brings a 2.8-inch OLED display with a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels (WQVGA) and FM tuner. It is supported MP3, WMA, ATRAC, ATRAC Advanced Lossless, and ACC (music), as well as MPEG-4, H.264/AVC, and WMV (video). Its battery is enabling up to 29 hours of music playback, up to 11 hours of video playback.
Dimensions of Sony Walkman NW-A850 player are 46.8 x 104.9 x 7.2 mm and weight 62g. It is available in three color options – white, black or pink.
The cost of the cheapest of NW-A850, the Sony Walkman NW-A855 is $280.
