As promised, Sony has released its new 4.3-inch smartphone in Japan, the Sony Xperia A2 (SO-04F). Already official unveiled in earlier this year, the handset is arriving in its homeland market Japan through NTT DoCoMo. You’ll be shelling out at least 69,120 Yen that equivalent about £399 or €498 or $679.
For those out of the loop, we should note that specifications of Sony Xperia A2 is same as the last year’s Xperia Z1 f and the international’s Xperia Z1 Compact. But the new phone comes with a matte plastic back. Aside Grey Black and White, the Sony Xperia A2 has new colors – Lavender and Orange.
It runs the latest Google’s mobile operating system, Android 4.4.2 KitKat software. The Xperia A2 phone packs a 4.3-inch touchscreen 720p display, a 20.7MP Exmor RS camera on the back, and a 2.2MP Exmor R front-facing snapper.
The heart of Sony Xperia A2 smartphone is a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8974 quad-core processor and Adreno 330 graphics. It’s got IP55/IP58 certification for dust and water resistance. The Xperia A2 has 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, and a 2300mAh battery.
