Joined with Xperia tipo (also known as Xperia Tapioca) and Xperia tipo dual smartphones, Sony Mobile Communications has also officially introduced another handset, the Sony Xperia Miro. Like two others, the Miro is also running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. Comes with arguably stylish design, new handset delivers colorful illuminations, while getting alert of incoming messages, social updates.
Sony Xperia Miro smartphone boasts a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7225A single-core processor clocked at 800MHz, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB onboard storage (2.2GB user accessible) with expandable by MicroSD card. The Xperia Miro provides a 3.5-inch touchscreen display, a resolution of HVGA 320 x 480 pixels, and scratch-resistant.
For capture moment, new Sony smartphone offering a 5 megapixels camera on the back with LED flash and VGA video recording, a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls. Other feature is GPS, Wi-Fi, DLNA, Bluetooth, and FM radio with RDS. Moreover, the handset brings deep Facebook integration, Sony xLOUD audio technology, TrackID music recognition, and PlayNow.
The Xperia Miro is supports GSM / GPRS / EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and UMTS / HSPA 900/2100 MHz DLNA. Its 1,500 mAh battery is enabling up to 6 hours of talk time, 545 hours on standby. Dimensions of Sony Xperia Miro are 113 x 59.4 x 9.9 mm and weighs 110 grams.
According to press release, Sony is plans to release the Xperia miro smartphone in Q3 of this year. But pricing information is not yet available.
