Sprint Nexus S 4G Smartphone on May 8th

The Sprint version of the Google Nexus S aka called the Nexus S 4G smartphone will arrive on May 8th, 2011. Sprint has just official announced this Samsung handset will set you back $199.99 with a two-year service agreement.

This ‘pure Google’ phone packs a 4-inch contour touchscreen display (800 x 480 resolution), which has a curved design for a more comfortable feel and look, a 5MP rear-facing camera, and a front-facing VGA camera.

WiMAX-enabled version of Samsung’s Nexus S is powered by a 1GHz Hummingbird processor paired with Android 2.3.3 OS.

In additional, the Sprint’s Nexus S 4G has also a gyroscope sensor, 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot capability (up to six Wi-Fi enabled devices simultaneously), VoIP/SIP calling, and Near Field Communication (NFC) technology.

The Nexus S 4G smartphone is equipped with 16GB internal memory (ROM), 512MB of RAM, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, GPS, and a 1500 mAh Lithium-ion battery.
