Sprint OverDrive 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot
Sprint Nextel has introduced its new 3G/4G wireless router at CES 2010 in Las Vegas. This new Sprint OverDrive 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot is manufactured by Sierra Wireless. It will allow users to share their broadband connection wirelessly between Sprint’s 4G network and WiFi-enabled devices, thanks to Sprint’s 4G WiMAX network.
As mentions, Sprint OverDrive 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot is connect to Sprint WiMAX 4G network and shares connection up to five WiFi-enabled devices, such as laptops, desktop PCs, printers, cameras, game consoles, etc. When the 4G service is unavailable, the router automatically connects to the Internet via Sprint’s EV-DO Rev.A 3G network. It is support up to 150 feet Wi-Fi range.
Sprint OverDrive 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot comes with a microSD card slot, a LCD display which is showing connection status, battery life, and other information. Sprint OverDrive 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot router is available on January 10th, with cost at $99.99 after a $50 mail-in-rebate with a two-year Sprint contract.
