Sprint Samsung Restore phone for earth life
Samsung and Sprint recently announced another eco-friendly mobile phone, called Samsung Restore.
This green phone is made from 27% post-consumer recycled plastic for outer casing and 84% whole handset, 100% recyclable for packaging, 70% post consumer materials for cardboard box made, and printed with soy ink.
It is also reported that Samsung Restore has low levels of environmentally sensitive materials such as PVC, BFRs, Phthalates, and Beryllium. Samsung Restore is fully compliant with RoHS standards and an Energy Star Version 2.0 qualified.
Sprint Samsung Restore phone has slide-out full QWERTY keyboard, a 2MP camera, optical joystick, music player, Bluetooth, and a microSD/microSDHC card slot with capacity up to 32GB. It also has integrated to social networking sites such as Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and YouTube, which is just One Click access.
Cost of Sprint Samsung Restore phone is $50 with a two-year contract and after a $50 rebate. This phone will be available begin in the summer.
