Sprint will sell a premium android powered device (although non-4G handset), the Samsung Transform Ultra. This Samsung slide-out smartphone is already available at Boost Mobile since few days ago.

Running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, the Sprint Samsung Transform Ultra smartphone is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 processor, 512MB of RAM, 2GB of ROM, and a 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery that enabling up to 7 hours of talk time.

New Samsung Transform Ultra is packs a 3.5-inch touchscreen display with HVGA (480 x 320) resolution, a sliding QWERTY keyboard, a rear-facing 3.2MP camera, a front-facing VGA camera, Wi-Fi, and GPS.

Dimensions of Samsung Transform Ultra are 4.57 x 2.40 x 0.55 inches and weighs 4.9 ounces.

Samsung Transform Ultra Price and Availability

The Samsung Transform Ultra smartphone will be sold by Sprint starting November 13, 2011 for cost of $79.99 with contract and after a $50 mail-in rebate.
