Super Talent is adding a new line to its extensive line of new SSD disks, MasterDrive SX SSD. A new range of storage products will have 3 options up to 256GB, as far as capabilities are concerned: 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB.
Super Talent MasterDrive SX SSD is 2.5-inch, an aluminum chassis, and all of them are MLC NAND flash (Multi Level Cell). This SSD also has 128MB of DRAM cache, use a 3Gbps SATA-II interface and performance speed of a write and read rates are 200 MB/s and 220 MB/s in 128GB and 256GB models, and being the 64GB model in a little slow are 120MB/s (write) and 200 MB/s (read). MasterDrive SX SSD has power draw to 0.5W during reads and 0.15W while idle.
For now, the price is $359 (257€) for 128GB model, keeping the mystery of the other model above.
