Synaptics, expert in the field of sensor technology has demonstrated its new development. This is a capacitive touchscreens, ClearPad 3000, which supports the management with the fingers extended multi-touch. ClearPad 3000 is capable of handling up to 10 simultaneous finger presses, and also implements a number of new unusual features. For example, the image on the screen can be shape and size of each touching finger as a piece of paper, in addition, elements can be “erased” finger, after a few movements, they disappear. In addition, the game is shown on a virtual piano and typing on-screen QWERTY keyboard, where you can nip down the Shift key with one finger, other typing text.
The development is certainly interesting, although there is an important question about the cost of devices with such an innovative display. At first, it is unlikely to be low. As expected, the first mobile device with a Synaptics ClearPad 3000 capacitive touchscreen will be appear this fall.
