Synaptics Fuse phone, the future of user interaction for handsets

Synaptics has introduced a concept phone, namely Fuse, which is positioned as a “mobile device of the future”. New Synaptics Fuse is a collaborative mobile phone concept with Synaptics Texas Instruments, Immersion, TheAlloy and The Astonishing Tribe. It is based on the TI OMAP 3630 processor.
Synaptics Fuse Phone is equipped with 3.7-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with resolution 480×800 pixels (WVGA), a system of haptic feedback, as well as support multitouch and active 3D graphics technology. In addition, Synaptics Fuse is equipped with triaxial accelerometer, on the side faces of the devices are capacitive sensors and pressure sensors, and on the back, one more “sensitive” area that is used to navigate through the interface device. In other words, the Synaptics Fuse is equipped with not just a touchscreen and touch the body. Moreover, manage it through movements, gestures, movements and even contractions in space. In short, anything you like.
Synaptics Fuse also has brings number of proprietary Synaptics technologies, such as ClearPad, NavPoint and TouchButtons.
Synaptics Fuse will be demonstrated at CES 2010 in Las Vegas and Mobile World Congress 2010 (MWC 2010) in Barcelona. Obviously, this Synaptics Fuse never appears in the sale, but the technology implemented in it, be sure to find a place in mobile phones near future.
