Synology DiskStation DS414slim 4-Bay NAS Server headed to the US next month

Synology, the storage device maker, has officially introduced a new four-bay network attached storage server and called the Synology DiskStation DS414slim. Company says it is a compact and eco-friendly NAS server. Coming in occupying minimal space, the DiskStation DS414slim has a pretty decent fun and security features.

Heart to pumping life the device is a Marvell Armada 370 processor operated at 1.2GHz combined with 512MB DDR3 RAM. New Synology DiskStation DS414slim 4-bay NAS server is built-in 60mm cooling fan. This storage server offers four 2.5-inch SATA (III) HDD / SSD bays, which is support for up to 6TB of capacity. Moreover, it works with RAID (0,1,5,6,10) and JBOD configuration. Still, if you’re interested in picking one up, you have to wait until mid-June to get the new Synology 4-Bay NAS server. The Synology DiskStation DS414slim will cost $299.99.
