System76 Starling netbook gets dual core N550

System76 has quietly announced new specs of its netbook that known as the System76 Starling. As noted, the company offers two netbook model – the System76 Starling EduBook is a ClassMate PC (non-tablet) rebrand, while the System76 Starling netbook is now upgrade to an Atom N550 dual core processor.

The System76 Starling netbook is now powered by a 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 dual core processor, run Ubuntu 10.04 OS, and a 3-cell battery. It can configure with up to 500GB of hard drive or solid state disk (SSD) for high performance, and 2GB of RAM.

The cost of System76 Starling netbook is $385. You can pay extra $59 for gets a 6-cell battery.

System76 is also announces start shipping internationally by the end of November 2010. First step will be arriving in the UK, which will still have US keyboards and power cords.
