T-Mobile Garminfone Android Smartphone, GPS Phone
Garmin collaborate with T-Mobile USA mobile operator has presented their new Android-powered smartphone, called T-Mobile Garminfone.
Apparently, the handset is quite similar to Garmin-ASUS Nuvifone A50, which was announced in February 2010.
The T-Mobile Garminfone is running an Android (probably v1.6) with support for Google services. It is equipped with a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display with resolution of 320×480 (HVGA) pixels, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi, a 3MP autofocus camera, GPS, and a microSD card slot. This Garminfone Android phone will be bundled with the Garmin Navigation including North America map, text-to-speech technology, and so on.
T-Mobile Garminfone should be available later this spring. There is no word on pricing.
