Nokia has just officially announced a new variant of the Nokia C7 smartphone, the Nokia Astound that headed to T-Mobile. The new handset will be available exclusively in T-Mobile online and store on April 6th, 2011. The T-Mobile Nokia Astound smartphone is selling for price of $79.99 on contract and after a $50 mail-in rebate.

The difference of the Nokia Astound and the Nokia C7 is a T-Mobile logo on the Astound’s chin. New T-Mobile Nokia Astound (C7) smartphone has features a 3.5-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with resolution of 640×360 (16:9 aspect ratio), Wi-Fi, 8GB of internal memory, microSD card slot, Bluetooth 3.0, and an 8 megapixel full focus camera with 720p HD video recording.

Nokia Astound smartphone has also a dedicated GPU, a 1200 mAh battery, and GPS with Ovi Maps preinstalled. It is supports for quad-band GSM and penta-band HSPA.
