T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4G Android HSPA+ Smartphone

Samsung and T-Mobile USA today officially announced the new smartphone, called the Samsung Galaxy S 4G, which will replace the Samsung Vibrant.

The main differences from its predecessor is the presence of the front-facing 5 megapixel camera for video calls and support for HSPA+, which is used ST-Ericsson M5720 HSPA+ 4G modem to enable theoretical peak downloads of up to 21 Mbps.

Otherwise, Samsung Galaxy S 4G is a typical representative of Samsung Galaxy S family. The handset has brings a 4-inch touchscreen Super AMOLED display, a 5 megapixel camera with recording 720p HD video, GPS, and more.

The Samsung Galaxy S 4G smartphone is running on Android 2.2 and boasted by a speedy Samsung 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird Application Processor.

In the US market, Samsung Galaxy S 4G will be available in February 2011.
