T-Mobile UK announced that its next Android smartphone will be called G1Touch and will be released in the near future. It is not yet clear what the device is hidden behind this name. Perhaps this model is U8230 from Huawei Technologies. It was demonstrated recently at the CommunicAsia 2009 in Singapore. Huawei U8230 is equipped with 3.5-inch touch screen, 3.2 MP camera and it is based on the Qualcomm chipset. We know that this Smartphone will go on sale in Europe in the third quarter of this year. Thus, it is likely that T-Mobile G1Touch, it is Huawei U8230.
Also, it is possible that a new G1Touch is only version for HTC Magic T-Mobile UK. This smartphone is already sold in the Vodafone UK operator, called Vodafone Magic. And in the United States, it will be released as the T-Mobile myTouch 3G. That in the Smartphone was named G1Touch, most likely, we will know next week.
