TapeWriter, Convert cassette to MP3

June 21st, 2009 Filed under Home Entertainments, Music Player

Today we will present TapeWriter, a converter from analog to digital audio. It is to get those old songs that we had filed only on tape, an obsolete technology.

Besides being able to recover these old songs, it can use as a cassette player for desktop. Due to the age of this technology, its creator has decided to give that retro look, but I doubt they have been able to do more futuristic.

There are connectivity to connect with its music to your home stereo by RCA connector (cable included in the box), USB to computer, and an audio output of 2.5 mm.

It’s worth mentioning that includes all the software necessary to perform the conversion from cassette to MP3 or WAV, but most work is done with the audio PC or Mac editing program Audacity. TapeWriter has costs $119.95 (about 86 euro).
