TDK is going ready to release its industrial-grade 2.5-inch solid state drives, the TDK GBDriver RS3 Series. The drive is designed for use in tablet PCs, thin clients and embedded devices.

TDK GBDriver RS3 Specifications

The TDK GBDriver RS3 Series SSD is utilized SLC (single-level cell) and MLC (multi-level cell) NAND Flash memory.

The SLC model is available in 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB of capacities. It is delivers read and write speeds of up to 160MB/s and 60MB/s.

The MLC version is comes in 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB of storage space. This MLC NAND is offer read and write reach 160MB/s and 25MB/s.

TDK GBDriver RS3 Series solid state drives have features SATA 3.0 Gbps interface, a MTBF of 500,000 hours, automatic 128-bit AES encryption, and a Static Wear Leveling function.
