Team Group Xtreem S2 and Xtreem S3 2.5-inch SandForce-based solid state drives
Team Group has just announced two new solid state drives, called the Team Group Xtreem S2 and the Team Group Xtreem S3. These drives are used SATA 3.0 (up to 6 Gbps) interface.
Team Group Xtreem S2 and S3 Specifications
The Team Group Xtreem S2 and Xtreem S3 SSDs are a 2.5-inch form factor and based on multi-level cell (MLC) NAND flash memory technologies. It has MTBF of 1.5 million hours and TRIM supports.
Team Group Xtreem S2 solid state drive will be available in 60GB, 120GB and 240GB worth of capacity. The S2 is capable to read and write speed of up to 550MB/s and from 480MB/s to 520MB/s. The SSD can a random 4k write performance of 50,000 IOPS.
The Xtreem S3 is higher-end SandForce SSD and similar to Team Group Xtreem S2 SSD, but a higher rate of IOPS up to 90,000 IOPS 4k random writes. The Team Group Xtreem S3 has capacity of 60GB, 120GB, 240GB, and 480GB.
Dimensions of Team Group Xtreem S2 or S3 are 100 x 70 x 9.5 mm. Their prices are not reported at moment.
