You might think one SIM card slot on your tablet is enough but TEC has just officially announced its unusual Android tablet in Japan. New gadget is called the TEC Talostec, which provides two SIM card slots with 2G and 3G networks. The company says the tablet offers a convenient specification and travel business trip. It is also thin and lightweight device with 283g weight and thinness of 8.7mm, which is women and children friendly.
Close to the aspect ratio of the magazines and books, TEC Talostec 3G tablet has a 7.85-inch IPS capacitive multi-touch display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels and 10-point touch support. Its heart is a quad-core MediaTek MT8389 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, and an SGX544 graphics. The tablet delivers 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, and microSD card support (up to 32GB).
Alongside dual SIM card slots, new TEC Talostec is equipped with 2MP camera on the front, and 5MP rear-facing camera. It runs Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean operating system and a 3500mAh Lithium battery. On connectivity term, there are GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, and one mini-HDMI output. Dimensions of this tablet are 200mm x 135mm x 8.7mm and weighs 283grams.
TEC Talostec 3G dual-SIM Android tablet should be available for Japanese market on mid-February and complete with a price tag of 19,800 Yen (about $193)
