Australian telecommunications company, Telstra has just released a new light-weight tablet that namely the Telstra T-Touch Tab. The tablet is provides phone-calling capabilities including SMS, email, mobile internet, video, and voice calls.

The Telstra T-Touch Tab is powered by a 768MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 512MB of memory, a microSD card slot (up to 16GB), and runs on Google Android 2.1 OS.

Newly Telstra T-Touch Tab sports a 7-inch touchscreen display with resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, GPS, 2 megapixel camera, and 3.5mm headphone jack. Its battery is providing up to 150 minutes of talk time or video playback, up to 140 hours of standby time.

Dimensions of Telstra T-Touch Tab tablet are 209 x 108 x 15.5 mm and weight about one pound. The Telstra T-Touch Tab is available for pre-order with priced at $299.
