The sixth sense: Technology May Change the World Forever (video)
The conference TED (the name stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design) the guys from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology revealed something unbelievable, a working prototype of a multifunctional device that can become part of our lives in five years to ten. Set named “sixth sense” consists of a camera (it captures the movement of hands), the projector (it produces the image on any surface), the mobile phone (it is in your pocket and need only to communicate with the abstract database server) and four fingers on which to detect movements, wearing colorful caps, perceived by the camera.
Video duration of 4 minutes and worth to see how it works (or similar device will operate in the future). Of course, the ultimate device would be less cumbersome, but the fun that creators raised its price at 350 dollars. Particularly impressive opportunities to project information about the product on its packaging (such a scenario, by the way, more real than the project notebook for runs along the supermarket shelves) and a cloud of tags is projected to a friend at a meeting with him. Not to mention the ability to project the watch on her wrist or make photo depicting just four fingers frame viewfinder.
