Thecus N2310 NAS Server for Home and SOHO market

Thecus, well-known storage solution, has officially introduced its latest 2-bay NAS server, the Thecus N2310. New device is designed for Home/SOHO users who concern to solid storage solutions on a budget.


Compare to the recently-launched N2560 and N4560, the Thecus N2310 has a lower specifications and more affordable price, of course. New Thecus N2310 2-bay Home/SOHO NAS server boasts an 800MHz AMCC APM 86491 processor, and 512MB DDR3 RAM. In additional, the N2310 comes with energy efficient capability, which is consume only 5W in idle mode.


It is equipped with two SATA HDD bays and supports for multiple RAID 0, 1 configuration as well as JBOD setup. On term of connectivity, there are Gigabit Ethernet, one USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 port. Moreover, the Thecus N2310 NAS features built-in FTP server, web-based file access, BitTorrent client and Plex Media support.


Company says the Thecus N2310 2-Bay Home/SOHO NAS server is require just 5 minute complete installation. According to press release, the N2310 server will be ship starting December but the official price is still unknown at this moment.
