Thecus N4100EVO 4-Bay NAS with dual-core Cavium chip

Thecus has recently added its NAS device lineup, the Thecus N4100EVO. New server is being the first 4-bay NAS device to feature a Cavium dual-core processor. It is designed to change the way you run your office, at home or at work.

The Thecus N4100EVO 4-Bay NAS is support for RAID 0, 1, 5, JBOD and provides a dedicated XOR engine to ensure machine runs the ‘lighten’ load and free up the CPU to giving faster NAS.

Thecus N4100EVO Specifications

It is equipped with a 600 MHz dual-core Cavium CNS3420 SoC, 256MB of RAM, a 2-inch LCD display with 4 buttons, four SATA HDD bays, and two USB Host ports.

As connectivity, new Thecus N4100EVO has dual 10/100/1000 BASE-TX Auto MDI/MDI-X LAN ports. Thecus NAS server is also brings RAID Accelerator, which is allowing building RAID quicker.

Coming with metal chassis, it measures 226 x 165 x 192 mm.
