New Intel Pine Trail platform power-efficient is not only attractive to netbook. The processors and chipset is also suitable for excellent storage solutions. Now the Thecus has launched the first NAS server (Network Attached Storage) with Intel Pine Trail processor.
Thecus N4200 NAS server is boasts a 1.66GHz Atom D510 dual core CPU, 1GB DDR2 RAM, dual Gigabit Ethernet, two eSATA ports, six USB 2.0 ports, four bays for SATA hard drive with up to 8TB of capacity as well as choice between the 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch format.
The Thecus N4200 4-bays NAS also has dual screens which are an LCD for viewing critical system information, such as network and hard drive status, and a 2.8-inch OLED that allows users to change settings such as LAN, WAN, languages, Link Aggregation, and so on.
Its storage is support for a variety of RAID configurations, including RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10 and JBOD. Thecus N4200 NAS server has the safety equipment with dual PROPERTY (Disk On Module) and an extra battery in case an accident that allows every effort not to risk losing any data.
There is no price information for new Thecus N4200 NAS server.
