Thecus N4200 NAS with 6D technology and starts shipping
Today, Thecus has announced its new update NAS device, namely Thecus N4200 with 6D technology. Previously, Thecus N4200 NAS server was announced at CES 2010 in January. The Thecus N4200 NAS Server is supports four 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch SATA drives and provides RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10 and JBOD drive configuration.
Thecus N4200 NAS Server is boasts a 1.66GHz Intel Atom D510 dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM. It has a 2.8-inch OLED screen that showing modifying or settings such as WAN, LAN, Link Aggregation, and more. It also has an LCD for showing critical system information device.
Thecus N4200 NAS with 6D technology packs six USB 2.0 ports, dual Gigabit Ethernet, two eSATA ports, and a PCIe x1 expansion slot. The Thecus N4200 provides a lithium-ion battery, which is handles lost in the case of a power outage.
Thecus N4200 has begun to debut stores before CeBIT 2010 for priced at 519 Euro (without hard drive) or range from 699 Euro to 1,089 Euro with 2TB to 8TB of hard drive.
