Thermaltake, known for its high quality computer equipment, has announced release of new elegant external enclosures for HDD/SSD family. The new HDD/SSD enclosures are called SilverRiver II. It is includes a stylish case that made from aluminum and in 3.5-inch (ST0016 and ST0017) and 2.5-inch (ST0018) form factors.
Thermaltake SilverRiver II with 3.5-inch model has dimensions of 195x125x70 mm, while 2.5-inch model has dimensions of 136x79x17 mm. All the Thermaltake SilverRiver II series HDD/SSD enclosures support SATA 1.5 Gbps/3.0 Gbps.
The ST0016 model is equipped with eSATA (up to 3Gbps) and USB 2.0 (up to 480Mbps) port, while the ST0017 and ST0018 supports only USB 2.0 interface. The Thermaltake SilverRiver II series ST0016, ST0017 and ST0018 HDD/SSD enclosure will be appear in the next week and have priced at $39.99, $29.99 and $19.99 respectively.
