Three LG Phones Android-powered this year

LG Electronics announced plans to release this year, three smartphone based on Android operating system. They believes that despite the global financial crisis, the mobile market today is on the rise, at least compared to last year. LG, one of the world’s largest supplier of phones along with Nokia and Samsung, it is planning this year to take 10% of mobile market. It has shipments of its phones, it is expected to be on the basis of 110 million per year. In 2008, it was sold 100.7 million LG devices.
Three different devices from LG that is running Android will be released in the third and fourth quarter of this year. A few more models on the basis of this mobile platform will have next year. Several comments regarding the anticipated development of the mobile market and the position of LG said Chang Ma, Vice-President of Mobile Communications Company. According to him, in the second half of this year will be a gradual increase in demand for mobile phones. He also noted that LG is not going to lower prices for its devices to increase their market share.
