Three new Biostar Motherboard on Intel P55 chipset

There are first photos of three new motherboards manufactured by Biostar, constructed based on Intel P55 chipset and designed to interact with future Lynnfield processors. New names are TPower i55, TP55 XE and T5 XE and relate to different marketing categories.

For example, Biostar TPower i55 high-quality motherboard is designed specifically for PC enthusiasts. It has a 12-phase power supply system, expansion slots, two PCIe x16 and PCI, as well as one connector PCIe x1 and PCIe x4. There are also four slots supporting dual DDR3-2000 memory.

At the same time, the Biostar TP55 XE motherboard is designed for the mass market and it is equipped with 8-phase power system and support for DDR3-1800 memory. A budget model of Biostar T5 XE received power system, which includes 6 phases, as well as two expansion slots; PCIe x16, PCIe x1 and PCI. Moreover, despite its budget status, this motherboard has four slots with support for dual DDR3-1800 memory.

Sales Biostar TPower i55, TP55 XE and T5 XE Motherboards is expected in the first half of September.
