Toshiba AT200 thinnest tablet
Toshiba has showcased its thinnest (only 7.7mm) Android tablet at IFA 2011 (September 2-7, Berlin, Germany), called the Toshiba AT200. As comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 as the world’s thinnest Android tablet has only 7.9mm in thickness.
Toshiba AT200 Specifications
The Toshiba AT200 tablet is boasts a 1.2GHz TI OMAP 4430 dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, up to 64 GB of flashy storage, and runs Android 3.2 (Honeycomb) OS.
Newly AT200 thinnest tablet is packs a 10.1-inch LED-backlit touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixel, a MicroSD card slot, a rear-facing 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, a front 2-megapixel camera, an accelerometer, a gyroscope, a light sensor, and GPS.
As connectivity, Toshiba AT200 Android tablet is packs 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, MicroUSB, and Micro HDMI output.
Dimensions of AT200 are 256 x 176 x 7.7 mm and weight about 560 grams with a brushed aluminum back. Its battery is good for up to 8 hours of operate per charge.
Toshiba AT200 Availability and Price
The Toshiba AT200 tablet is scheduled go available in European market in Q4 2011 but no word on pricing at moment.
