Toshiba BookPlace DB50 Android e-book reader

Toshiba is going prepare to launch its Android-based e-Book reader, the Toshiba BookPlace DB50 in Japan next month. This e-reader device is offers users to access Toshiba’s BookPlace store, which claimed contains about 50,000 books and other magazines.

The Toshiba DB50 BookPlace boasts a 7-inch WSVGA touchscreen LCD display and a 1GHz Freescale i.MX535 processor.

Weight just 330 grams, the Toshiba BookPlace DB50 e-book reader is equipped with 8GB of onboard storage, microSD card support, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, USB 2.0, and Bluetooth. Its dimensions are 120 x 190 x 11 mm.

There is no information about price or availability on other markets.
