The Japanese company, Toshiba Corporation today announced a new LCD TV, called CELL REGZA 55X1. This LCD TV is the flagship line of REGZA and the world’s first LCD TV with integrated Cell processor. This processor, it well suited to the game console, Sony PlayStation 3. Perhaps the version of the chip for TV will contain some changes that, however, it will not prevent a bring CELL REGZA 55X1 astonishing performance when working with audio and video content. Furthermore, the Cell processor with Super Resolution technology improves image quality.
Toshiba CELL REGZA 55X1 has a panel with a 55-inch diagonal and the frequency of 240 Hz. This Toshiba CELL REGZA 55X1 TV has a dynamic contrast ratio of 5000000:1 and brightness of 1250 cd/m2, LED backlit display, Dual TV Tuner (digital and analog), and support for DLNA standard, which allows content to take over a home network. In addition, there is a special prefix tuner with support for digital and analog channels and a built-in hard disk drive capacity of 3TB, enabling simultaneous recording of eight channels of TV network total of approximately 26 hours. Toshiba CELL REGZA 55X1 LCD TV should appear in Japan in December, its cost is not reported.
