New Android tablet will be released by Toshiba Canada in early 2012. It is called the Toshiba Excite AT200 that was announced in early September 2011 at IFA as the world’s thinnest, lightest tablet.

Previously, this tablet is known as the Toshiba AT200 but according to its official website, AT200 is called the Toshiba Excite and coming in January 2012.

Toshiba Excite AT200 Specifications

Running on Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS, new Toshiba AT200 Excite is boasts a 1.2GHz dual-core TI OMAP 4430 processor, and 16GB / 32GB onboard storage.

The Excite tablet has a 10.1-inch touchscreen LED backlight display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, a 2MP front-facing camera, and a rear 5 megapixel camera.

In term of connectivity, Toshiba Excite AT200 brings a microSD card slot, Micro HDMI and Mini USB 2.0 ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth v2.1 + EDR.
