Toshiba has today official announced its unique full Windows dual-touchscreen mobile PC, namely Toshiba libretto W100. It is not quite a tablet and not quite a netbook but one curious great gadget. The upcoming ultra-mobile PC is able used as a netbook with one touchscreen display acting as a 6-mode virtual keyboard with haptic response; or a dual-display e-book reader device.
The Toshiba libretto W100 is powered by a 1.2 GHz Pentium U5400 processor, 2GB of DDR3 RAM, a 62GB SSD, and pre-loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium operating system. Toshiba libretto W100 dual-touchscreen mini-notebook has brings two 7-inch touchscreen displays with resolution of 1024 x 600 pixel, a 1.02 megapixel webcam, Bluetooth 2.1, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, an USB 2.0 port, and a microSD card slot.
Toshiba libretto W100 has weight 819g (with 4 hours of battery life) or 699g (2 hour of battery life). Its size is 7.95 (W) x 4.84 (D) x 1.2 (H) inches. It is expected sale for price of $1,099.
