Toshiba has officially announced that a number of its notebooks and netbooks will be released on October 22nd in the updated version with Windows 7 “on board”. For example, a 10.1-inch Toshiba Mini NB205 netbook will be supported by the Windows 7 Starter and will be offered in several configurations with 160GB and 250GB hard drive, as well as 5 different colors: brown, white, blue, pink and black. The 18.4-inch Toshiba Qosmio X500 notebook will be offered in two configurations: Qosmio X505-Q830 with the native display resolution of 1680×945 pixels, 320GB hard drive (7200rpm) and 4GB of RAM, and Qosmio X505-Q850 with the native display resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, 64GB solid state drive (SSD) and 320GB hard drive (7200rpm) and 6GB of RAM. The cost of these devices is $1,449.99 and $1,899.99 respectively.
