Toshiba has started selling its powerful notebook in Japan, called the Toshiba Qosmio T780. The heart of T780 notebook is a 1.73GHz Intel Core i7-740QM quad-core processor (up to 2.93GHz with Turbo Boost mode).

The base configuration of Toshiba Qosmio T780 laptop is 4GB of RAM (expandable to 8GB), 640GB hard drive, Blu-ray drive, multi-format card reader, webcam, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n.

New Toshiba Qosmio T780 notebook is sports a 18.4-inch display with Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, GeForce GT 330M graphics with 1GB of dedicated memory, HDMI and D-Sub for connecting an external monitor. There is dual TV tuner, a remote control, and Windows 7 Home Premium pre-installed.

Dimensions of Toshiba Qosmio T780 are 443 x 294 x 42 mm and weight 5kg. Its battery is enabling up to 3 hours of use.

Cost of Qosmio T780 entertainment notebook is starts about $2,440.
