Toshiba has updated its Satellite series notebook, the Toshiba Satellite A500-ST6644. It is used Intel Core i3/i5 dual core processors and fusion finish in quantum black enclosure. Toshiba Satellite A500-ST6644 is powered by a 2.13GHz Intel Core i3-330M processor.

Toshiba also offers Toshiba Satellite A500 with a 2.26 Intel Core i5-430M and a 2.40GHz Intel Core i5-520M CPU options. New Toshiba Satellite A500-ST6644 comes with GMA HD integrated or NVIDIA GeForce 310M 512MB or GT 330M 1GB dedicated video cards, up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, and up to 640GB HDD.

Toshiba Satellite A500 notebook has feature 16-inch LED backlight display with 1366×768 resolution and a DVD writer. It is equipped with a multi-touch trackpad, stereo speakers, a webcam, microphone, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, an Ethernet LAN port, three USB ports with an eSATA/USB combo port, an HDMI port, a 5-in-1 card reader, a VGA output, and optional Bluetooth.

Toshiba Satellite A500-ST6644 notebook is pre-loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium or Professional or Ultimate 64-bit. It is starting price of $699. Toshiba is also offering another Toshiba Satellite A500 series. They are Toshiba Satellite A500-ST5607 and Toshiba Satellite A500-ST5608 with pre-configuration of Core i5-430M and Core i7-720QM quad core processor, respectively.
