Toshiba Satellite A660 Multimedia Notebook with Intel WiDi enabled

Toshiba has announcing its new multimedia notebook, called Toshiba Satellite A660. The key feature of this notebook is supporting for Intel’s Wireless Display technology (or WiDi), which allows transfer an image from computer to HDTV via wireless connection (requires a special TV adapter). In addition, the Toshiba Satellite A660 is implemented to improve the picture quality with Toshiba’s Resolution+ upscaling technology when playing content from DVD drive.

Toshiba Satellite A660 is equipped with Intel’s Core i3, i5 or i7 processor, up to 8GB RAM, and up to 640 GB hard drive. This Toshiba multimedia laptop has a 16-inch LED-backlit display with resolution of 1366×768 pixels, GeForce GT 330M GPU with 1GB of memory. Toshiba Satellite A660 is equipped with Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DVD/Blu-ray drive, card reader, 1.3-megapixel camera, HDMI port, and three USB ports. Dimensions of Toshiba A660 notebook are 379x254x28-35 mm and weight 2.9 kg.

This notebook will be available in June 2010 and comes with Windows 7 Home Premium OS. There is no word on price of Toshiba Satellite A660.
