In April, Toshiba will begin selling a new big screen budget portable computer, which will be available in two versions – Intel and AMD. These laptops are called the Toshiba Satellite C670 and the Toshiba Satellite C670D. The main feature is packing a 17.3-inch display with resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels and support for Toshiba’s TruBrite.

The Toshiba Satellite C670 and C670D notebook sports up to 8GB of RAM and up to 320GB hard drive.

Toshiba Satellite C670 is powered by an Intel Core i3 or Pentium processor, while the Toshiba Satellite C670D is boast a hybrid chip, AMD E-series processor.

There are DVD burner, Wi-Fi, card reader, webcam, two USB ports, and runs Windows 7 Home Premium OS.

It is expected that the 17.3-inch Satellite C670 and C670D laptop will go on sale for cost of $880.
