In the back-to-school season, Toshiba Europe has offering a pair of new notebooks, the Toshiba Satellite Pro L670-172 and Toshiba Satellite Pro S500-131. The new Toshiba laptops are based on Intel Calpella platform.

Toshiba Satellite Pro L670-172 is powered by a 2.26GHz Intel Core i3-350M processor, 4GB of memory, Intel integrated graphics, and a 320GB hard drive. The Toshiba L670-172 notebook can pack a 17.3-inch LED-backlit display with native resolution of 1600 x 900 pixel, a DVD burner, WiFi, 10/100 LAN, Bluetooth, a multi-gesture touchpad, and up to 4.5 hours of battery life.

Toshiba Satellite Pro S500-131 laptop is boasts a 2.26GHz Intel Core i3-350M CPU, 2GB of DDR3 RAM, integrated graphics, and a 320GB hard drive. New Toshiba S500-131 has brings a 15.6-inch display with 16:9 aspect ratio and 1366 x 768 resolution, a DVD writer, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Ethernet LAN, and up to 4 hours of battery life.

Cost of Toshiba Satellite Pro L670-172 and Toshiba Satellite Pro S500-131 is €749 and €679 respectively. Both notebooks are pre-loaded with Windows 7 Professional 64bit OS.
