Toshiba Satellite T130 notebook with built-in LTE 4G
Toshiba has presented its notebook with built-in 4G LTE network module from Ericsson at Mobile World Congress 2010, called Toshiba Satellite T130. This updated notebook has download speed up to 16Mbps (technically, LTE offers up to 100Mbps peak download speed). New Toshiba Satellite T130 notebook makes one of the first high-speed connection options.
New Toshiba Satellite T130 is powered by 1.3GHz Intel Single Core ULV SU3500 or 1.3GHz Intel Pentium Dual Core ULV SU4100 or 1.3GHz Intel Pentium Single Core ULV SU2700 or 1.3GHz Intel Celeron Single Core ULV 743 CPU. The Toshiba Satellite T130 with built-in LTE 4G has features 13.3-inch display with 1366×768 resolution, a Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM (800 MHz), and up to 500GB hard drive.
Toshiba Satellite T130 LTE 4G also has brings a 6-cell battery with enabling up to 11 hours of use. No word on pricing of Toshiba Satellite T130 with integrated LTE 4G module.
Samsung also has showcased its netbook with integrated LTE 4G module, it is Samsung N150. That makes the first netbook with an integrated LTE chip.
