Tranquil T7-MP2 Fanless PC and HTPC on nVidia Ion
Tranquil has announced its new powerful fanless PC, called Tranquil T7-MP2. It is designed for home entertainment system or HTPC.
Tranquil T7-MP2 nettop is boasts a 1.66GHz dual-core Intel Atom D510 processor, 2GB or 4GB of RAM, and one/two 500GB hard drive(s).
This mini desktop is utilized nVidia Ion platform, which allows Media Center to handle the high-definition video processing and image with resolution up to 1920×1440 pixels.
Tranquil T7-MP2 Fanless PC is equipped with Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI, DVI, D-Sub, six USB ports, and one eSATA port. It is bundled with media center remote control. Tranquil T7-MP2 is provides US Internet television services, including the BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, and SKY Player.
In the base configuration, which is includes 2GB of RAM, a 500GB hard drive and Windows 7 Home Premium, Tranquil T7-MP2 Fanless PC can be purchased for around $700. It has extra cost for added 30GB/64GB SSD. Tranquil PC T7-MP2 nettop will be available begin May 30th, 2010.
