Besides Transcend StoreJet 750GB 2.5-inch shockproof portable hard drives, Transcend has also unveiled low-profile mSATA and half-slim SSD (solid state drives) to their industrial product range. Both devices are perfect for netbooks, small form-factor devices, GPS, tablets, mobile internet devices (MIDs), and ultrathin notebooks.
It is no bigger than a business card, the Transcend mSATA SSD has measure 29.85 x 50.8 x 3.5 mm with JEDEC MO-300A standard for SFF SSD. New Transcend mSATA SSD will be available in 32GB and 64GB storage space. The Transcend half-slim SSD has size of 54 x 39 x 4 mm with MO-297 JEDEC compliant and comes in from 4GB to 64GB capacities. Both Transcend mSATA and Half-slim SATA SSDs are sports a SATA 3.0 interface.
