Swiss watch maker, Ulysse Nardin partnered with SCI Innovations are starting sale their luxury phone, namely Ulysse Nardin Chairman. It is running on Google Android mobile phone platform, not Windows Mobile. Ulysse Nardin Chairman Phone will be the world’s first luxury smartphone to run Google’s OS. First model was shown to the public a year ago, in March 2009.
The Ulysse Nardin Chairman Android phone will have costs ranging from $12,800 to $49,500, depending on the model options.
Ulysse Nardin Chairman smartphone is equipped with an Ulysse Nardin Rotor kinetic power system and Crown (for winding the phone), which is designed for recharge additional electrical power for the battery. Its battery is provides up to 8 hours talk time and 30 days standby time.
Ulysse Nardin Chairman has feature 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display, a fingerprint reader, 8-megapixel camera and 32GB flash drive. It is supports playback of HD video and pre-loaded with applications for YouTube, Google Maps, Gmail, Google talk and Facebook. The Ulysse Nardin Chairman Luxury Smartphone is boasts a Freescale i.MX processor and Qualcomm 3G GSM/WCDMA – 2G Bands 850/900/1800/1900MHz 3G Bands 900/2100MHz.
