Oto-Shigure is umbrella with high technology because in this umbrella can also function as portable speakers, which is we can dancing in the rain.
This umbrella build-in speaker developed by Keio University Japan, and TOA engineering.
Oto-Shigure does not differ much with other Japanese traditional umbrella made from bamboo and paper, but the difference between all parts of the umbrella can produce sound when the iPod or other portable music player connected to this umbrella.
By using small amplifier and 4 pcs “vibrating Motors”, which is placed around the umbrella, umbrella will produce a sound that loud enough that you can hear quite well in by people who are under the umbrella and the people who are nearby.
Currently, the Oto-Shigure are displayed and if many people want it, Oto-Shigure will be produced next year with the estimated selling price below US$ 100.
