ASUS site and some online store in Europe have appears upcoming ASUS Eee PC with Intel Atom Pineview processor. This processor will come as early as January 2010 and the new processors will be called Intel Atom N450 and Intel Atom N470.
Asus will introduce the ASUS Eee PC 1008P and the Asus Eee PC 1005P/1005PE, which are all netbook with 10-inch display, Intel Atom N450, and Windows 7. This is an update to existing seashell, which could aesthetic point of view.
The new ASUS Eee PC 1005P will have an Intel Atom N450 (1.66GHz) processor, a 1GB of RAM, and a 160GB HDD. ASUS Eee PC 1005P will be pre-loaded with Windows 7 Starter Edition. The ASUS Eee PC 1005PE will brings a higher capacity of storage with 250GB hard drive and Bluetooth.
Cost of ASUS Eee PC 1005P in UK is £211.26 (about $345), while ASUS Eee PC 1005PE is priced at £235.08 (around $382).
